The top ten was no real surprise (except for Apollo 13).
Here's my top ten (in no particular order as I love them all

-Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn
-The Terminator
-The Empire Strikes Back
-Predator
-The Matrix Reloaded
-Robocop
-Alien
-Aliens
-War of the Worlds (1953)
-2001: A Space Odyssey
With the Star Wars and Star Trek movies I basically picked my favourites of the bunch. Really I could go on and add another 40 movies that I love! ;D
