Here I go again.
Unless we can find a house that we can afford in a few days, the dogs (mabe the cat) are going to be boarded for a short time and, if nothing comes up, given away. The oldest one might even be put down. I wish it didn't have to come down to this, but we can't stay here much longer and the dogs can't be boarded forever. We just can't afford rent at the prices these days. We've tried literally everything. Job searches, newspapers, friends...nothing.
I feel like screaming.
I know we can't keep them in an apartment and they can't stay here. Going to the shelter, the're only given three days before they put them down.
Please. If you know anyone in the area that can take them, even for a short while, let me know. The home phone is non-applicable now and the cell has limited minutes, I'll ask you to PM me or send an e-mail.
There are three dogs; one is a female eleven year old Aussie/German Shepherd mix with artheritis. She's about fifty pounds, gray/tan/white, patient and sweet named Pocahontas.
The second is mine, a female five year old black/brownish 'mutt' (mainly bull terrier and Lab) about 45 pounds, very shy, and rambunctious. Her name is Annie.
The last, a male seven year old chihuahua/peikingese miz, is fawn/tan, about five to seven pounds, very yappy, and rather grouchy. He's called Poquito.
The cat is a female Calico/tortiseshell between 10 and twelve. She's about nine or ten pounds, declawed, and shy but will 'come out of hiding' with paitience. She's Callie.
You already know about the rat, but he and the bird are pretty easy...comparitively speaking. We could probably take them and maybe even the cat in an apartment.
I'll let you know what devellops. Thank you in advance; at least for caring.
