Nooooope. No takers. Not even a murmur. I have no idea what I can do with him. Animal shelters, from what I know, charge money to turn animals in. Besides, I don't know if they even take small rodents. 
Rats have gotten such a bad rep that he might be destroyed anyway.
I'm completely stuck. The only thing I can think of if start caling friends or smuggle him in under the house owners'- and my parents' -nose.
