probably not. I had 1 carry on piece of luggage for my last trip & in Chicago they allowed my lightsaber hilt to pass & go on the plane. But in Columbus Ohio security refused to allow my lightsaber hilt to go on the plane. So I had to leave security & go put my 1 suitcase with hilt in it into baggage. An f/x most likely won't make it. Of course each airport is different with their security as I found out.
