I'm 27 and currently live with my parents. My job just barely pays my pills. I used to be a kindergarten teacher. I taught for 2 years at a low economic school but made enough to have an apartment. THen I taught two years at a small school district and my salary was almost half. I had to move back in with my parents then. After 4 years I decided enough was enough. I valued my sanity to much. Now I work for a company doing Data Entry and other file work. It is the perfect job for me and I love it, except for the pay. So I am still at my parents. I had to work two jobs over the Holidays to save up and attend CIII and even then I have to eventually pay my mom back for some of it.
I have a girlfriend, Angie, and we have been seeing each other for almost 2 months, but it feels more like years. She wasn't a Star Wars fan before we met, but she is quickly becoming one. Tomorrow she will finally graduate from college with a BA in English and Jounalism minor. We have already talked about eventually finding a way to get our own place. Even if it is an apartment.
I have 3 babies. The oldest is Thumper, black and white cat, who just turned 12. Then there is Blue Smiley my 2001 Bright Blue New Beetle. He Turned 4 in Feb. Then the baby of the family, Lucky. She is a silver tabby that will be 3 this month. She comes to you when you sing and loves to play with the plastic strip you peel to open a milk jug. lol
I am trying to get more active lately. In fact Angie and I went for a bike ride last weekend and rode about 5 miles. The funny part was when we reached our destination, a local park at the end of the bike trails, I ran into Stormtroop Phil from the 501. Seems we had the same idea about going to the park. I am hoping to dust off my rollerblades and put them back into use soon.
As for sports. I love a lot of them, basketball, football, baseball. The problem is that no matter how much I loke playing them, I am terrible at it. In middle school I kept the score books for the girls team and acted as manager. In high school I played on our newly formed Softball team. Our second year we tripled our record by winning 3 games as opposed to the 1 game the first year. lol I played some and got stuck keeping the score books some too, but it was all fun. I would love to get to play softball again, or at least get to hit some balls. I always loved batting.
I too am a heinz 57
Mom-French, dutch, probably more
Dad-German, Irish, Dutch, and Native American (I know that my great grandmother was named Maude Rainwater)
My nephew gets to add 1/4 korean to his mix. Typical American mixing pot.
