About 2 weeks ago, our 12+ year-old vborder collie died, you might recall. We have been looking for a new companion since the house seemed so empty without our Spanky.
Today we found a new friend. Meet Izzy:
Husky/border collie mix.
Rescued from a pound. Although my sister works at the Humane Society, and we did have an application on a dog there, this one just really jumped at me. Although it was a big decision to make. There was a Aussie-mix I really liked at the pound also, that I kept thinking about, this one just really struck me when we went back to look again.
Very gentle and quiet.
