I haven't noticed the impeding Potter event affecting my fan fiction writing. I try to be steady with that. But since my fan fics tend to be of the SW/Jedi type, it seems reasonable that it would be disassociated from Harry Potter.
My question is, should I read the last book fast or slow? My sister plans on just reading it straight through -- after she reads the last chapter first. Ack! But she does that for all books she reads anyway.
Do I want to make Book 7 last a little bit? Avoid spoilers and enjoy the text? Unfortunately, it might become very difficult after the first few weeks. It's going to be all over the news what happens at the end, and not just on the internet!
