My prayers are also with you and your family as this is something that hits very close to home.
Just this past week I lost my grandfather, it was quick but painful.
My mother was taking care of him but he began wandering around the house and falling to the point of injury so they took him to the hospital. I got to see him before he left and tell him I loved him and that I'd see him soon...
They ran a catscan and found he had cancer in his pancreas, liver and lungs. He was taken to a Hospice the next day and he was gone that evening...
I find peace in know he's with my grandmother again whom he loved dearly but lost after her second bout with breast cancer just 2 years ago.
It's not an easy time, but you are not alone.
I know this because although I'm still healing, I am not alone.
Christ is here with me.
My wife is here beside me.
My family is with me.
My friends are all around me.
I'm not alone, and neither are you.
