As a mom, I could not fathom not supporting my son in whatever happens to him. Even if I did not like what he did I would still be there for him and would try my best to do what I can for him, hoping that he could bring himself around.
My family has a lot of divorces -- one brother has been divorced four times, another 3 and still another needs to get a divorce but won't do it. One sister has one divorce, but that husband was a child molester.
