I just blew by 2000 and didn't even notice!
Once upon a time Post counts counted towards greater rank and "prestige" in a forum. Many Padded their counts inanely in order to appear more important to newcomers and one up the other members.
On the forums I first joined we got to calling them Padds (Acronym definitions varied) and had fun with them.
