Hi all.... catching up again, school has been kicking my beehind!
Once upon a time I was going to be a middle school (junior high, for ya'll northern cousins) teacher, but then couldn't finish college. Then I worked for Waldenbooks for 10 years (sucky management job but it was pretty nifty there for a while when Ep 1 came out - i have a cool promo full size stand up cardboard battle droid! woot!)
Then I got married and didn't want to work weekends anymore, so I got into data entry/clerical work for a small place. After five years there I decided (with a lot of prompting from my husband) that it was time to finish college. Now I go to school part time and work part time for a Dept of Labor contract; it started as data-entry, but then they decided to take advantage of my new college major - I am now officially a Technical Writer. All that really means is that I take old user guides and installation guides written 20 years ago by programmers and try to make them... ummm... readable.. hehehehee....
But when I get my degree I want to be a science writer, hopefully in something Astronomy or space related. (Physics in the Fall..... aaaaaauuugh!)
