yea, i do hang them on the wall, its better for the neck relief. i live in a 160 year old house, so the humidity is all over the place, so instead of resting the guitar against the neck, i hang them on the walls from the headstock so it wont risk any damage to the neck,and so i wont trip over them, stub my toe on them, or knock them off the stands. it helps save space too; its actually kinda funny. when my family moved into the house, i just kinda left that wall bear becuase i didnt know what to put there, then over time i got back into music and started hanging instruments on it. thats only half the wall, you should see whats sitting on the floor under them!
as for the guitar, it sounds insane. its a lm special, so it has higher end humbuckers in it, and its all one lovely peice of mahogany, i adore it!
