Even with all the rain in the last month, NY is in a rain deficit too, about 5.5 inches.
I had to go to NJ the other night, while waiting for the bus home, I got to watch a mother skunk & her two kits, very cute, they were attracted to the garbage can at the stop, I think, lots of food and drinks in it.
