I was in Las Vegas for a birthday & to visit a another Jedi. The young gentleman was celebrating his 30th bithday & he really likes Star Wars so I wore my Jedi as a surprise for him. We went out for dinner & I went in Jedi.
My Jedi friend in Vegas would have trooped but it didn't work out.
So we went out to lunch to a restaurant instead in Jedi. Went shopping in a grocery store afterwards---I got a few looks but most just ignored us.

We did go to see some casinos---I don't gamble (though I did play a Star Wars game & won a little bit--it was a penny slot machine--I did it mostly for the fun of it) or go to the shows but some of the casinos are really gorgeous--I think my favorite is Venetion & Mirage. (Excaliber should be Excalibur but couldn't change it
---duh) I was hoping to troop in Vegas with my Jedi friend but that just didn't work out. I did troop in 2006.

We discovered some very cheap airfare to go from Vegas to California & it's only a 45 minute ride by plane. It took longer to get from LA to Anaheim---over an hour.
--didn't wear my Jedi but it was fun
I also had the chance to go to Disneyland (1st time in over 20 yrs.)

I really enjoyed the California Screamin roller coaster---I do like roller coasters a lot. My 1st visit to this park.
