No fun having a sick pet. Been there... I hope she gets better on the new food and meds and that solves her problem. 
I used to put Chelsea's meds and supplements in meat baby food. That worked well! It's hard to get pills into a 5lb dog. meat baby food is easier on their tummies if they are sick, too.
