What does Muslin look like? Do you have a link to some swatches I could see?

they are all at my aunt's house, but if your ever in a fabric store or a walmart or something, look for tea dyed muslin, it gets softer as you wash it, and its a beautifull color for jedi tunics

Yeah, I like the tea dyed stuff too, I've used it for a lot of under tunics in a fairly lt. weight. I've used muslin every now & then in the heavier weight as well, in varying shades, mostly natural, but also some tea dyed, which does seem to stay softer and wrinkle a little less. I usually let the wrinkles in the muslin work for the garment, I set it on high to set the wrinkles and then cut & sew them in, it's a look similiar to Calcutta, and it usually does get softer with washing and wearing. They make good messy day tunics.

yeah, I sometimes use the perma press muslin for undertunics, but like the wrinkle effect of a heavy weight natural muslin for outer.
