When ever I need new tan pants, I usually go to JC Penny's to buy them. It saves a whole lot of trouble and money. Has anybody ever done this before?

I've looked at Walmart, but I never have any luck. The pair I buy is about $10- $15 and they're pretty much like jeans, except they're tan. I'll usually wear them every week to church.

I think that just about everyone gets the pants for their Jedi costumes 'off the rack'. The top of them are hidden by the tunic and the pant legs are hidden in the boots. I got mine at the Goodwill. Cotton, elastic-waist pants or slacks with plain seams and inset pockets (no back pockets) that don't show under the tunic work best for me.

Same here, got mine at Conway, K Mart & Wal Mart either plain elastic waist pants w/ pockets or plain leggings in brown, biege, natural or tan.

Yep, a lot of slacks don't have back pockets. And a lot of drawstring and elastic waistband pants don't have back pockets, either. The pockets would never lie flat with a gather waistband.

www.devalifewear.comhas some very nice clothes that might fit the bill here. I ordered some shirts from them Oooo.......15 years ago and they are still wearable (though my wife has claimed them since I have "outgrown" them ~ahem~. I keep looking at the site wondering what would work for a JEdi outfit.....

I've used Deva Lifewear pants for my Jedi outfit. Some of the lighter weight shirts can also be used for undertunics if you don't mind a non-canon neckline.

I used the Wal-Mart dress pants for a while (sizing is a bit off compared to my other slacks) and went with a pair of Dockers from JC Penny.
Pockets aren't a problem, since my tabbards run low and I usually have my robe on regardless.
