I think we (my husband and I) wind up collecting all the wierd stuff, though maybe that's just my imagingation! Beside the Episode 1 figures and toys, we have been collecting the bubble bath, shampoo, lotion, etc. bottles that came out for kids. The bottle tops have different character heads on them. We have also picked up the Jar Jar soap dispenser and Anakin soap dish. Someone bought us the Anakin plate set, knowing we would love it! We also have pencils, notebooks, party supplies, pens, stationary, mouse pads, wrist rests, a Darth Vader phone, the answering machine that looks like Queen Amidala's ship, a remote control that is shaped like Darth Maul's sith ship and one like Luke's lightsaber, and glow-in-the-dark wall decorations. Like I said, wierd! But fun!!!

And I thought I was obsessed! You two are funny! Hmmm......... let's see. Do I have any wierd stuff? My sis-in-law and nephew sent me a couple of Ep I Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut toys for my birthday. They also sent the Jar Jar dool that came with the Pit Droid alarm clock set, but my mom confiscated that! She like Jar Jar! She took the Jar Jar baseball hat too. Come to think of it, I'm lucky she couldn't carry anything else they sent me! I have a couple of Ep I journals that I can't bring myself to write in lest I mess them up. So they just sit on my desk and look pretty. I have some light saber pens and Ep I pencils. The bubblebath and soap? I bought 'em and then doled them out to my niece and nephew. The 2 little ones get a kick out of that kind of stuff! My niece loved the Darth Vader bubble bath!!! And getting to the center of the Jar Jar soap, my sis-in-law calls "Incentive to wash." Hehehe........ I actually considered the Anakin plate set when it went on sale. Then I said 'Nah! I have too much as it is!" But, if someone gave it to me, well, then I lwould love it!! I also have some cool remote controls. Right now I am using the Sith Infiltrator remote. The wing is almost busted from everyone dropping it, including me. But I found another one in K-Bees for $8 a few months ago, so I have a backup. I have Luke's Lightsaber remote too. (stop drooling Shoshana. lol! ) That is just sitting in the box since I have more remote controls than I do TV sets! The Star Trek Phaser remote is way cool too! But that got bumped up to the bedroom TV when I got the Infiltrator remote.

I have a ceramic R2-D2 that is painted tan brown that my wife bought me at a yard sale. I really don't have anything that could be considered "weird". I mostly have "normal" stuff. Some people think I'm weird for collecting this stuff at all!

Please don't talk to me about remote controls Xana!!! If I had an piece of electronic equipment for every remote I had, you wouldn't be able to move around in my apartment. ;D Now that I see what everyone else has, I think I am going to try and collect more normal stuff. Though I will still keep collecting the wierd stuff too.

I have officially started my collection of Episode II stuff lol. Starting with the special cereal they came out with. There are 2 different box covers and I have them both lol. They look really cool. the marshmellows look cheesy though LOL. I also got my hands on a promotional Stand up of Boba and Jengo Fett. It's to promote the novel and the jedi apprentice books that come out the 23rd. It's not life size but still cool looking. I'm not a big fan of Boba or Jengo but if it's star wars, and hard to find.. i want it lol. not that i have a place for it. between my darth maul statue, the Darth Maul cutout [that i got for $5] , and the DVD pomotional stand for Moulin Rouge I'm running out of space in my house. not to mention the big blow up pepsi cans.... my house is a cross between a bachlors pad, a college dorm rooom,a toy store, and a messeum lol.

I think the camera shaped like EpI trade fed. droid binoculars was fun, it can put you and one of several characters in the photos together. It works best outside in bright light near a light or white background. Now that I've figured that out I'll try to take some better pics w/ it and me in my robes.

Ah, yes! I was fighting with yougurt sabers this weekend. They are a neat attraction for kids. What shape are the marshmallows in? Little tiny blasters and lightsabers? That might be cool to eat SW cereal again. I still remeber a joke from the back of a SW cereal box when ROTJ came out:
What's the name of Jabba the Hutt's dog?
Jabba the mutt!! ;D

There is a new cereal coming out next week for AOTC that looks pretty cool! I didn't get a good look at the box, because it was on a pallet at Wal-Mart and the guy wouldn't let me open it or buy any! . He said that they weren't allowed to sell ANY of the SW stuff until April 23rd. BUMMER!!! The cereal is supposed to have a mini lightsaber in each one, and I think there are 4 or 5 different ones. I did get the Honey Nut Cheerios though, and they are offering a mail-in for 3 different collectable SW race cars. They are modeled after Jeff Gordon's #43 car (if you are into NASCAR, which I am not-but I live in a NASCAR crazy town, so it's hard not to pick up a few things!!). Apparently Jeff Gordon will be driving the real car in at least one race. Pretty cool! I'm going to get as much of that stuff as I can. But I don't think I'll get the yogurt lightsabers, because I don't like yogurt! And even though I'm a biologist, I don't want to start a yogurt culture in my house by saving an unopened package. Can you imagine what that would be like?!

Shoshana..... as a past home scientist I can say you probably are right in my getting the lightsaber Yogert lol. I still have yet to see the mold it produces but with the evironment I used to live in as a kid I can probably guess. I've seen just about ever color mold known to man.... you wonder why i have a hard time getting sick... my immune system is great. If i see any I'll eat the yogert and send you a ligth saber. deal?

LOL!! Sounds great!!! I didn't want to just throw out the yogurt to save the saber. I don't like to waste food like that. And I don't know anyone who likes yogurt!
