Misha does NOT like R2. Very funny, to watch him barking. Especiaaly when R2 goes "on patrol".....he will randomly patrol around the room, and it drives Misha crazy. Cocoa doesn't like him either.
I don't have video camera, but maybe I can borrow my brother's.......... ;D

LOL! Aww poor dog. Doesn't like Drpids eh? I 've seen R2 D2 as well, he's kidna cute. He's MUCH smaller then the normal sized one but that's alright. Does your R2 have his own personality? Does he ever get ticked off? My friend ticked off his R2 D2 so much, R2 wouldn't do what he said. LOL

My R2 is slightly addled....like his owner.... and yes....I did tick mine off so much that he gave me the "red eye" and just kept rotating his dome at me... he is cute...sometimes he obeys every command, and sometimes he just doesn't want to listen to anything...
kinda like a real astromech...

I got mine and I love him. I decorated him and he sat by the Christmas tree. I will probably decorate him for every holiday...lol.... I did learn that he is not for everybody.. I had my RPG gamers at my house for a game and they wouldn't listen to me on how to work him. They kept screaming at him to do commands that he wasn't supposed to do. I finally cut him off and told them to grow up before they touched him again. he really is not a child's toy and I couldn't get that across to them.

I hear ya.... I had R2 over by my sister's house for the neices and nephews to see.....as long as they were quiet and I was giving the commands then R2 was fine...but if there was too much talking in the background then R2 would get confused. The kids started trying to make him do things too...but they just talk too fast and didn't speak clear....so I powered down my unit too.....definitly and adult's toy!

Yes we got R2 for xmas. My Four year old loves him dearly. she has figured out how to comand him and then will sit in front of him and talk to R2 hell make his little wistles and things and she thinks he is talking back. They play light tag rgularly and he sleeps by her bed. She dosent like it when he tells her no LOL but gets over it. It is really cute to watch. She is a quite sensetive child not loud and very patient so it works well. My other one on the other hand . Well lets just say her nickname is Sith girl LOL in a loving way. But she is only two

LOL...I had a Sith Child too, but being raised with the Force in her life, she came over to the light side and grew into a beautiful and intelligent woman. My sons also are great with the Force.....however my Ex is still Sith and worships the dark side... ...We battled hard against his influence and he is definitely no longer a Force in our lives....LOL I mean....really, what kind of man thinks that collecting Star Wars is a waste of time.....I bet now he would change his mind....Naaaaa....... he would have sold my mug by now.......

I got R2 for my birthday the other day. I have been playing with him all week. I asked him today if he "remembers" 'Han Solo' Next thing I know he is whistling and tooting part of the main theme music. I have tried repeatedly to get him to do it again but so far he has only done it the one time. At least my Mother was in the room to verify later that it happened. I think there are a few "easter eggs" hidden in his programing. The biggest problem I have had with him, not counting his stubborn attitude, is his tendancy to roll over anything lower than his 'shoulders.' Boxes, Nintendos, Legs, even Cats are fair game. If he can't go over he keeps trying to go through for a while then gives up. I feel like I have to 'baby proof' the room before I turn him on lol. I don't know how I will be able to top this when my brother's birthday comes around

first off....welcome Jedi Jen...will look for your "introduce yourself" thread.....
Wow...you got one of the Easter eggs...so far...I haven't found any....and most of the time when I ask R2 if he remembers so-and-so ....I always get a "no" answer....have to keep trying...
