Im looking at putting together a second costume, in order to go with my corran horn/keiran halcyon/neeja halcyon style old republic/njo styled robes.
What Im looking at doing is as accurate as i can get (aside from the hair) Zayne Carrick costume.
Zayne is the protagonist in the "Knights of the Old Republic" comic book series that takes place shortly before the start of the KoToR game, in fact it primarily takes place in and around the mandalorian wars.
Now i figured my existing brown pants, and my boots will work fine, ill just need to rig up some sort of removable kneepad for when i want the boots to be worn with my normal costume.
I have a leathersmith that im actually in pretty tight with, who is going to replicate the very simple brown leather bracers, as well as the belt, and the three visible pouches, as well as the shoulder pads, as accurately as possible for me.
I do saber buildling as it is, so im working with a machinist to get his hilt milled, as closely as possible to the comics as well
Now because it is still all earth tones, would this be considered acceptable for non canon specific events?
(not that there are many where im at, but still, ill likely wear this to local cons on my own for the heck of it)
