I am now back but I didn't go to DC after C6 since I went over to Disney to spend a 40th anniversary & memories of my husband & I visiting Disney the very 1st time in 1972 before it was a year old. I had to make a decision of DC or Disney this year & Disney & the 40 yrs anniversary won for sentimental reasons. I have pics but please willing to wait as I'm still transferring pics from my cell phone & have to put them together. I'm still in recoup mode from the travel day.
I didn't make it to all the panels I wanted to go to yet I did other things I have not had a chance to do either.
It was so pleasant to re-meet Amy, since the last time I met her was in 2005 at my very 1st Celebration which was C3---I was so very scared---C3 complained about by many yet for me it was the very 1st step into a much bigger world of the Force & the Jedi. Meeting TJA for the very 1st time in my lifeb & wondering whether I would even be considered to be accepted as a possible member. I know when we mentioned sponsers at TJA her name zoomed into my head with a very strong push to it. I showed Amy a pic from back in 2005 & she said it was a very long time ago & I was then in my very 1st very tacky Jedi costume. She was a bit surprised at 1st to be told she had been invited to become an honorary member yet she was very pleased as well to be thought of in this way. Then of course I almost lost my camera before the pic as it slid out of my hand what with holding the plaque, patch, camera & my cane(sometimes I really do feel like Yoda)
TJA has now come back from the brink & I do feel we had great success. It would be neat if, those who have the talent to do so could create some kind of Temple like setting for the next Celebration. (just a thought) I think we have 2 yrs to think about it.
It was so very nice seeing everyone again. Along with the fact my left knee held up quite well during all of this. I got to walk & ride during the convention for a change. MTFBWY
I'm wondering what will we be doing for Germany next year? Yes I'm taking under consideration of going to Celebration Europe 2. Though that is quite a long way away at present. The future is always in motion.

I would love to go to Germany... that is where my family is from.. and I have relatives still living at the house place that dates back to the 1400's....and has been in the hands of my family since the 1600's... I would love to see it before I die...
BUT... I also would like to go to The Assembly of the Assembly...
and.. the problem is.. I really can't afford either of them...
I have started to TRY to sell off a good portion of my Star Wars collection to try to pay for either trip.. but.. the problem is that no one is buying.. the last several auctions on e-bay netted nothing.. so.. lots of desire to go.. no money..

I have big ambitions, but not big money. I've started playing the NYS Lottery and sitting in front of the TV waving my hand at it like a Jedi so that my numbers fall out of the hopper in Albany.

I prefer we stick with "earth tones". Some gray, perhaps, if it seems to fit ("Taupe")

Finally got my C6 artwork back from the framers. I absolutely love this print - esp. the Aztec/Mayan theme for 2012. The outer ring is made up entirely of lightsaber hilts. So many details
