Thank you, ma'am! Nice to be seen! LOL I am sooooo out of the loop... going to take a while to catch up with stuff. I can't troop for a while... not sure how long... at least a few weeks. But other than that, I'm feeling pretty good for an old Jedi. Hey Kryy!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!! I know the catch-up game... I was away for just a week and yet I got behind on stuff... I can imagine what you're dealing with!

Just looked -- mine was January 15th. I thought Kai was before me, but I guess not!
Wow, how time flies

Status: Long work week ahead. Big house had a fire... gotta pack out whatever is salvageable. Very sooty. No heat or light or running water in the house... it's almost like working outside. Good thing the weather should be on the mild side. Anyway, it's a job and a paycheck.... weekends free for events, conventions, etc...

Grats for the work, Leda. Wish you were working indoors. Still up in Vermont. Was supposed to go home Saturday, but was held here.

bows Greetings All, Well I feel like I've been gone forever but hopefully now I'm back. These past several months since CVI have been extremely stressful all the way around. My Mom is deteriorating badly & Colleen & I have no idea how long she has before Mom becomes 1 with the Force. In the fall Mom accidently fractured her femur & is still, even now still healing. She's had a sore which took about 4 months to heal. Her appitite is reduced considerably. She is fully handicapped & Colleen & Jen use, for now, a hoyer lift to get Mom out of bed into her chair & back again. I can't even move the hoyer lift empty, a very heavy piece of equipment but Mom likes it because she thinks she's flying. We also had to get my Mom's house prepped for selling & it turned out to be a complete nightmare. The house did get a buyer along with a list from the lending group of things that NEEDED to be done before they would allow the buyer to buy the house. Very HUGE headache all the way around. It was finally successful & we closed on the house & it is NOW out of my hair & off of my back. The saddest part was that we had to undersell the house because of what is going on in the housing market. We just completed some other things & only starting now to see the dust settle from all we have been going through---I mention we because I include Colleen-Mom's caregiver along with myself. We have another caregiver as well, named Jen who helps on the weekends. What with my shoulders I can't even lift Mom as she is quite heavy. Me I'm finally getting my act together & remembering I'm a Jedi. Though being a Jedi has helped me through all of this. I am in general doing ok . I'm walking more in house with my Wii Walk it out program & that seems to be helping me a lot. I have some other exercise programs that I'm doing daily to also help me. I think all in all since CVI I've been maintaining my lower wgt or actually have come down some more & maintaining it. I won't be able to do as many cons this year as I would like as I think I'm going to spend a bit more time with Mom & Colleen while Mom is still around. I do have plans to go to Star Wars Weekends this May. Hopefully Dragon Con. I know I'll be doing the Joliet Library Event in June---everything else is unknown. I was hoping to go to Celebration Europe but too expensive for this year. Though with the Force things can change on a dime. Thank You MTFFBWY Jan-Qui

Very sorry to hear about your mother and all the difficulties with her house. I've had some members of my family go through that and they always take it one day at a time. My aunt, with the help of some caregivers used a lift for my uncle after he stopped getting out of bed.
I'm not going to SW weekends, but I'll see you at DragonCon.
I got my taxes done last weekend. So nice to get that out of the way before the deadline.

Since I have received some PM about this ... I'm still recovering from a car wreck back in September. The severe concussion has slowed me down ... but I'm working through it ... hopefully there is no long term damage.

I'm fine here, we're all fine, how are you? Dangerous reactor leak, give us a moment to lock it down....
Recovering nicely from my recent knee issue...

Not sure how many in the TJA will see this because I'm not sure how many check here & FB. My mother, who has been quite ill for several years has now become 1 with the Force today. I just thought I'd attempt to let you know.
