My family and I went to see the movie Friday night ... We had Tickets for 7:10pm, but got there at 5:30 and almost could not get any seats together. The Manager helped shuffle people around to get all 5 of us together. The 501st had about 10 out front to great the crowds and my son and I were doing photo shoots right up to 7pm. I was called, during the movie I found out later, by the RL Rockie Base Commander for their troop at another theater. t seemed to be a big deal. The audience was cheering and the movie ended with a standing ovation. It surprised me, because if you listen to most fans, Episode I is their least favorite. If this first 3D release is any measure, here, the rest of the films will be very well received.
And yes ... Episode I is my favorite.

Don't worry, Leda; I'm SURE they're doing 2 and 3. This is George Lucas we're talking about here, my friend, lol! I don't think, aside from Spielberg, there's been another director who tinkers with his own film as much as Lucas does....

I've yet to see any movie in 3-D. Even Avatar I saw regular. I'd like to catch that in 3-D too if it ever comes out again.

My eyes do not tolerate 3D very well, it's a real pain, but I could enjoy Ep1, specially the second time I saw it, I guess it has to do with the glasses. I have seen many 3D movies, most of them gave me headache, only 3 I have enjoyed: Avatar, HP7 2nd, Ep1. Ep1 looked really clean with depths I could see without having a headache, I was very happy. ... and I saw it for free!!!!!!!!! XD XD
