I hope we manage to increase our membership - there's more canadian Jedi costumers then what's on TJA... I guess we need people to hear our name a little more.
Con Cept was good for that, lot of people saw who we are and what we do... hopefully it will have a domino effect.

I wonder if we could manage to have a small flyer stand or something in the like...
that could be interesting.
But I was more thinking of making a little more apprearances in local events - maybe going to your fav Toy Show in costume or something to that sense.

Do what we do here take fliers to the comic book stores, costume shops any place that they will let you put a stack of fliers and bis cards and put them out for people to take and read

"any place that they will let you put a stack of fliers and bis cards" is the point... not every shop owner will want that to happen. I guess we'll have to try and see what happens.
Stef, at the other side of the Plaza St-Hubert there is "Carta Magica" that could as well be interesting if we go that route. in fact, I'd have a ton of venue.
I guess we better think about making a bilingual version of the flyer if we're to do so, otherwise we might have the Office de la langue française on our back.

toy shows... no problems at all, there is also something i would like to do someday, funds raising for a children hospital. As a child, Sainte-Justine saved my life when i was sick. We could invite some other club and make an historical event. Empire, Rebels, Siths and Jedis join forces to help children. That would be priceless

I used to do this idea with my Fan Force. I would head to high traffic book shops and slip a bussiness card in each issue of the Insider they had for sale each month.......Our membership had quite a boost.

That would be priceless Alliance Imperiale has been trying to work towards this - like the 501st do in the states. They contacted Ste-Justine and Montreal's children if memory serves... one hospital had half a day of quick visit of 4 costumers maximum without dark costumes. the other one said they prefer their clown service and are concerned kids might be scared of the costumes (from experience, kids are more scared of a clown then a clonetrooper - go figure) all to say that there is a lot of public representation to be done at the kids hospital in montreal before we can do anything... now if you have any good contacts in there and can work something out, I'm always volunteer to bring light in a kid's eyes, particularly the sick ones if it can help them heal.
