[bows very low]
I am curious to know if any of you is working inside their Anakin Ep2.
I happen to have on hand 3 sound boards of this specific model but not the sabers they came from, and I cannot manage to get audio output from any of the 3. I think it has to do with wiring them, I am unsure how it is made as I cannot compare to the original saber. I would assume at least one out of three to be functionnal. The boards are very small so it would be very usefull for sabermaking. I wanted to buy one, but they are hard to come by.
If anyone has wiring information for that specific sound board, particularly how the poweron switch is plugged... please let us know for the good of all custom saber makers of TJA.

Thanks for the link, but that's me. I am the only guy on this planet to have 3 non-working anakin ep2 audioboards...

Olos if you give me some time I'll dig my original ep2 anakin EL out of storage and take it apart to see what wires go where. The sound still works on mine although with it being the first one there were alot of complaints as the sound was the most common thing that stopped working.

Jeffrek, I'd be very happy about it.
Most wires I can very much guess where they go, as the board have inscription like "+", "-", "spkr" or "swtch" on it. The main mystery seams to be the switch itself. As far as I understoor, there are wires passing from the sound board to the EL inverter, and pairs of both connected together on the switch.
I originally figured it should be easy as hell to find the good combination, but either I have bad boards, or I burnt them all... I'd hope MR to be more robust then that.
Anyway, if you could come up with some wiring help on these, I'd be real happy.

look through the TCSS Sound forum. I seem to recall seeing a pic or two showing the wiring set up..............I think.

Thanks a lot Tenric. I did look at them, with no satisfactory result yet.
Either I am unlucky, or the boards are simply fried. I'd love to be able to find how to make these work as they are IMO the smallest sound board available for lightsabers.

Erv"s new board Is thin enough to ride on top of a rechargeable battery pack.

Oh, I know, its pretty small... but it will not beat a 1.2 inch disc. More choices for sabermakers means more design options. Plus I do own 3 of those boards, no buttered toasts yet.

with those boards woudn't you be able to test for ohms? even for maybe wheather or not a circuit is broken? I'm not much for electronics but that is basic to me.
