Someday, (somemonth, someyear, somedecade) I will be able to get a machined saber...though I was planning on using some of my bonus (if I get any) to try to put in for my two sabers...if Ryan will ever condone taking curved saber orders.

Ryan has recently said he was going to abandon the curved saber making since the bends were producing too many damaged hilts.....I do believe he is offering curved practice sabers though.....that would give you a good start on one of your own!

That was before he made Apostle...which was nearly perfect with no bending problems.

yeah, just saw Apostle today. Nice!! It has elements of both my saber and my shoto... I'm hoping he'll say he can do it, if so, I'll order both as either stunt versions or fanfilm versions. I'd be happy to have something duelable...as I think my hardware sabers are probably too weak to do much with.

Kenobi Evolution: Just finished putting together my Ani AOTC hero hilt. I'm happy to finally have an accurate sized hilt that is wear-able. I couldn't carry around my AOTC LE because it was 1) too heavy; 2) too chrome shiny and prone to icky fingerprints; and 3) too expensive to worry about accidental mishaps. Not too much love for this particular hilt which made it hard to find the parts needed to make it, but here it is: I opted for the dull matte gray/metal look as seen in many of the promotional photos and in film stills. It also makes for easier cleaning and maintenance. As compared to the LE:

Dude those look just freaking awesome!!1. You have an Obi-Wan Apprentice saber which is great. I'm hoping to get another Obi-Wan TPM/AOTC as I don't wanna wreck my larbel.
Anakin looks great too

Yes, that was one of my favorite serendipitous finds. I then realized it didn't exactly have the right color schemes, so I sought out the real deal: I love Jude Watson...
