Here are my bases for my future holocrons:
These are the baseball and golfball cubes I mention in an earlier post.

Yes, I just made a trip to the Tapp Plastics store and saw the golf ball cubes. Very good idea!! I must have missed (or not remembered) your other post about it. Thanks for mentioning it again.
I have a little rubber ball that, when hit our tapped, starts to blink. I think I'm going to cover the golf ball case one with the graphics, put the ball inside, and then put it inside the bigger one!

I found a 3-d pattern in a Dover coloring book the other day. It's perfest for a circuit-board pattern for a holocron.
I think I'm going to etch the pattern then foil just the pattern. Since I have some leftover glass etch, I'll probably use that instead of paint.
Don't know yet if I'll light it or not.

Made it! I found a graphic, colored it and then sized it to fit the baseball cube. It's printed on "window cling" media. It could, of course, be printed on sticky media, too. I'm emailing them to you

those baseball cubes would be perfect, but is there any way to get one of them to float inside of the other.

a couple of small rare earth magnets would do the trick nicely I should think. You could even work them into the scheme of the design so they weren't very noticeable. Glue one to the top and bottom of the inner cube and another pair to the underside of the opposing faces of the larger one......

I just used glue dots to hold the inner cube in place. But making it float using magnets would be very cool.

what would be really cool is a free floating diamond that could spin whilst helt there
