After endless years of going back and forth, and endless procrastination, and endless indecision.... I have done it...
I have ordered an EL Lightsaber...
I figure I ain't gettin any younger... I have been working for 37 years..... and even though I love my old non-working Parks that just hangs on my belt and does nothing....is lightweight and low maintainance..... I went for it!
I ordered a Rogue Saber with a green blade from Parks this morning...
now for that Jedi patience thing....
sigh.....

Do you know for sure he will have it to you by CIII? Keep up with it........he will be swamped from here until the opening of ROTS. If he told you will have it then you should........he sometimes gets delayed due to his supplier of parts being late. The Rogue is a powerful saber, very heavy duty, you will love it........congratulations.

Good for you! That's a classic looking saber.

I did talk to some at Park's on Friday later in the day...they said that it should be no problem to get the saber before CIII.....
I did choose the Rogue because it was more simple looking...not a lot of bells and whistles...I don't like sabers that are too "fussy"... .look at Yoda's saber...I mean how simple can you get..... .and I chose a green blade because of Qui-Gon and Yoda....and after I settled on the color, I noticed that green is the highest intensity color....cool....even better...
The wait will be terrible...but must remember Jedi patience....
I doubt that I will have the blade in it a lot...mostly the hilt will be just hung on my belt....I think I may sew a thin sleeve on a strap (just wide enough to hold the blade....probably out of my tunic material...so that I can just fling the thing on my back ....but mostly...the blade will probably be not with me...
I know that there are some who have sewed a sleeve into their robes....but...I don't think I want to do that...well not yet anyway....I know when I do costuming functions that involve kids...the blade will certainly be in the hilt....kids get a big charge out of that....lol...

I am excited ...especially to have finally made a decision...lol.... I have been throwing the idea around literally for years...and every time I decided to do it...I could not decide which manufacturer, which design, which blade....lol...so I would table the issue and "think about it some more".... the greatest part is to have finally made a decision... It took less time to pick out my house when I bought it......

Congrats! You won't regret it! ;D ;D ;D
That's a really good idea to sew a strap on to help support the weight. After a while, the heavy belt can cut into your hip and that's rather uncomfortable!

I know what you mean about indescision, that's the same reason I've never ordered a sabre from them as well. But I'm very tempted, but haven't figured out which to do.

The one I want most is a graflex EL

I love the Graflex El.......and it is on the money for Luke's ANH........with the duece it is thirty five percent brighter and the batteries last longer. I ordered ten of those for my shop but sold everyone.......people loved them.....

I vowed not to buy another lightsaber until I get this blue LED wired into my "primary" saber! lol!
I am still not satified with the output, although it's the best I've happened on so far.

Congrats on the saber! I have two Parks sabers, the Avenger and the Graflex. My next one will probably be the Fusion. You can't buy a better saber than his. (IMO) And rest assured, you'll have it by C3 if Jeff said so. Hopefully he'll be their, I may purchase another one.
