I know only of two websites that sell parts for lightsaber hilts... Blast-Tech and the Custom Saber Shop... do any of you know of other places to find parts like these sites sell? I don't really mean replica kits or complete sabers... just good sources for parts to make your own hilt. Anyone? Thanks!
edit: OK, here's a list of site I know of now: • Blast-Tech• Custom Saber Shop• Roman's Empire• Parks Sabers

i just made all the parts on my sabre out of hardware bits, and shaped it, and also found the right looking parts

What parts where you looking for? The site I ordered my red blanking knobs from sells most of the parts to recreate Obi-Wan's RotS/ANH saber

I don't know, anything really... I was just wondering if there were more shops like the ones I mentioned. I sort of remember one other - something like Romans Armory I think. I'd like to get a part like the ribbed section on Luke's ROTJ saber that I could fit to some parts I already got at the hardware store... TCSS has something that could work but it's still more than I'd like to spend on something that probably won't work out.

It is indeed a pricey item... When I made my Obi-Wan-inspired sabers, I used flexible hose from a plarge plastic funnel (auto repair rather than culinary). If you can find a piece of pipe with a suitable exterior shape (even if it's flexible) then it can be used by using it as a 'sleeve' over an internal dowel

Thanks, that was the second one I'd mentioned... I'm hoping there are more?

Thanks, that was the second one I'd mentioned... I'm hoping there are more? Yeah, when I put together the list of links for saber parts sources, those are the only four I repeatedly found. Of course that was quite a while ago. You may want to surf through all the sites listed in the first thread of this forum... you might find one of them selling parts now also.

Good idea, it appears as though LightTech has a few parts too...

There are also a few ebay sellers that are interesting. Some have websites, but you generally have a better deal off their aunctions.

The hilt for OWK ROTS and ANH are mostly different. ROTS is much thinner and custom machined, while ANH are mostly made of found parts. If you were to get ROTS hilt, then I'd prefer Master Replicas or any lighter weight, then check on RPF for fan made.
