I'll add my praise to your choice of grips, Phantom.
Well done!

I like the Graflex design, but I wanted mine to be a little different. I used alternating rubber and steel O-rings on the lower half. Wow... I like! It's a familiar design, with a twist! Nice idea.

phantom465 I must say I like your variation on the graflex style. I am a fan of the original luke saber from A New Hope, but this is very interesting and goes very well with the graflex elements. Q: do you have a spare graflex lower part? mine was damaged by a photographer in the 60s.

Q: do you have a spare graflex lower part? mine was damaged by a photographer in the 60s. Olos, I'm sorry. I already gave the lower end of the Graflex away to a friend, along with an extra clamp. He's building his saber now. I'm all out of Graflex parts.

VERY nice! I was thinking of the same basic idea! would you have parts numbers for the steel and rubber o-rings by any chance? Tenric, I purchased 1 1/2" steel O-rings from www.ahh.biz/ I also bought a few D-rings there. They have no minimum order, and also give you the option of $2 regular mail shipping for small orders. The rubber O-rings came from ebay. I found a great auction there titled "5 pounds of O-rings for $5." I already knew how I wanted my saber to look. I took a chance and bid on it. The O-rings fit perfectly. I still have a lot of rubber O-rings left, in various sizes. If you would like to have some, please send me a private message, and we'll work out the details.

Most awesome! I had to use my obiwan FX to look for something outside since I couldn't find a flashlight. I love startling the neighbors...

My saber from Randomsabers is finished. I can hardly wait for it to arrive. I have a costume event coming up in February and I am looking forward to having it hanging on my belt while I dazzle the kids with my MR saber. Here's a link to my saber. www.randomsabers.com/saber.php?name=Ruckus
