Yup, that is a Heiland. I used Automotive spray paint. It from Dupli-Color, MetalCast. The color is an Anodized Yellow. I got it AutoZone. It's a gloss color. They have a number of cifferent colors in this style. I am planning on making a few more sabers in a different colors.

Actually the Yellow and silver one is the Charity Hilt for the raffle at CIII. Sorry. Bummer. I tried contacting dreadnaught about their resin saber hilts.. And after what 3 e-mails.. I still get no reply.. It's been at least a week now.. So I am giving up on them as far as getting a saber hilt..

Are you going to be at CIII, I will have all my sabers there with me, and alot of them will be up for sale. Some are up for sale right now. Just go to this link and look through them: public.fotki.com/Jaiven/jaivens_sabers/ I ask reasonable prices, not some jacked up price that most places charge for a saber. None of them have Electronics in them to light up though.

Well, I shall be adding the 21st lightsaber to my collection by next week. This will be a personal one for me to keep. I work in a steel forging plant (forging steel and other various metals, kind of like modern day blacksmith, but on a much larger scale). Anyway, I now have access to Top Quality Aircraft Grade Aluminum. My boss has given me permission to take some of the aluminum scrap from time to time in which I may use to have machined into lightsabers. I got my first chuck of aluminum today, and found a machine shop about a block from where I work that will do the machining for me. Roughly about $75 per saber. Maybe more, depends on how much detail I put into them. Anyway, I will have the first one made next week. When I get it done, I shall post pics of it on my picture site.

Aw man Jaiven, those are amazing!
It's like a Luke ROTJ mated with a Luke ESB or something. ;D

Yeah, it's along those lines. I also took part of the design from the Parks Saber "Shadow". I am currently working on another design that I will be having machined out of aircraft aluminum.
