Has anyone ever tried custom made boots from MotorCowboy? (www.motorcowboy.com) Their boots are absurdly expensive but they look good. My line of thought is simple... I've spent so very much on the rest of my Jedi gear and have had it all custom made and so I might as well do the same with the boots.

I have heard from someone else that they are very comfotable boots, and they are well worth the price

I bought a pair on ebay about 6 months ago. I love them they are defiantly comfortable and look super sweet. I was lucky though and bought an already made pair that just happened to be all of my measurements ;D and payed half, so 200 creds for them. Expensive yes but beats 400 and man are they great. If you can afford them and are able to buy them they are worth it. But if not look for some ridding boots and convert them should be less than 200 to do that.

In my opinion, the leather they use is too thick. I like softer, Italian type leather. Then again, I have only seen and touched them, I've never worn them and I don't own a pair. Just my 2 credits.

Their boots do look great, that's for sure. I just bought mine from another seller on ebay: search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZsmokesthingy72This guy sells costumes for Star Wars and other movies. Before you buy, take a look at his boots. His boots sell for less than half of what MotorCowboy charges. They won't be a custom fit, but they're good enough for me. After I placed my order I received them in about two weeks.

Smokesthingy72 may have possibilities... I ordered some Jedi food capsules from that seller though I haven't received them yet. And so I'll reserve my opinions until after I have received my purchase. As is the case with all my Jedi gear, though, I've gone with custom-everything. And so a replica from the SW movies isn't what I'm looking for. The boots I'm looking at from MotorCowboy aren't even Star Wars boots but I think that they can easily work as such. I am grateful for the recommendation, though. Thank you.

I ordered food capsules from him too, and received them a short time later.

If I felt comfortable about the size the boots he offers, I would definitely pick up a pair. Another concern that I have is that his obi wan boots are missing the upper straps.
That said, I bought my belt/pouch/capsules from Pan-In-The-Box/smokesthingy and I was (and continue to be) thoroughly pleased with the quality of the items, the price and the purchase itself.

Another concern that I have is that his obi wan boots are missing the upper straps. He makes them in the Episode III style. Only in Episodes I & II did he have the upper straps

I wear a 14EEEE boot. I got some cheap costume ones that almost fit me, but they started falling apart after a few events. Motorcowboy does amazing work, so long as you get your measurements right, get help. For me they were incredibly nice and helpful, but others dont like them. If you can go cheaper, it's usually better to, but if shoes arent usually made in your size, go motorcowboy.

I've bought from Smokesthingy72 (he's now Costume_bay) and his stuff is great. I bought my pouches, boots and my new outfit from him. Prices are in my range and the quality is great. He's definitely worth checking out. And the stuff took 2 weeks to get to NY from Singapore, not bad.

Wow, they look great on you! Amazing how the pictures show the color completely differently! They're the reddish brown, right?
