People find Avatars all over the 'net. Or they use pictures of themselves in their Jedi garb.
Mine is a modified custom South Park character made into Nomi Sunrider, that I did a couple of years ago.

What Loreen said. You can run a search for Star Wars Avatars and see what pops up. That's what I do. If you need help adding one to your profile, I can help with that. Here are some cool ones to pick from: members.aol.com/jmaincal/avatars/swavs.htm

Just be aware that the maximum size for an avatar is 100x100. If you use an image that is larger, longer, wider, etc... proboards will automatically adjust it to fit. That's why some people's avatars look stretched or squished.

Thanks, Siri, for telling about Photo Bucket! My creative juices are flowing now.... almost like the time I got Photoshop Elements and stayed up WAY WAY too late trying to make lightsaber blades... (OK, OK, I'm still working on that.... it's that perfectionist curse.... )

Mine's from a create-your-own Lego character thingy I found a while ago. I have no idea what site it was on though. I know it was NOT lego.com though. I just saved it and re-sized it to avatar size

That would be cool! Call it strange, but I would love to have a 3" action figure of myself... I know, I know...
