1. All passwords have remained the same as they were before. Members can login and edit information.
2. The new site is geared toward the costuming side of fandom and to promote that, there has been a change in the 'member profile' in that the costume/character bio field has been changed to Costume Description only. All members are encouraged to edit their profiles accordingly. All the fictional character information has been archived in a database and will not displayed. If anyone needs a copy of their old profile info they can email me at LedaEmBorr@thejediassembly.com
But character backstories are fun too! If anyone would like to display their character bio, you can do so by creating a thread in the fan-fic section of the message board and posting a link to it in the 'homepage' field in your profile on the tja website, or post a link to it just after your costume description... just the url as is, no html. I'll have to do that soon myself.
3. We did our best to match up people with their lightsabers, but there are many saber pics that were either oddly named or missing from the image files. If any member has a wrong or missing saber, they should just upload a new pic.
4. There is now an option to upload an additional costume pic in the profile. This is so that the main photo can display the details of the costume, and the additional one can be either robed, or a fun pose, etc.
5. When a new profile pic is uploaded it will be auto-resized until a thumbnail is created by the webmaster.
6. There is now a field to display your message board name, and a link to your MB profile.
7. All emails displayed in your profiles are designed to be difficult to detect by email harvesters/spambots.
8. Because we wanted to get the site up as soon as possible, there are some sections that are still under construction. Those are the Events, the Gallery, and the Tutorials, and the past news updates.
