Please, no flaming. People came down on me pretty hard last time and that's why I vanished for a year. I'm trying to inspire rational debate and discussion, not attack. Thank you. Yah, that bit of garb there is beautiful and you're beautiful in it. Very fitting and you look the part. This sort of topic always comes up and lasts 50 odd pages or so, the battle lines usually drawn between the hardline "canon" defenders and artists who see things in a broader view. It'll come up again. And then LFL will add a new character and they'll break convention for JA's standards and rules. Canon, has a funny way of not staying the same and those that wish it to are out of luck. Force be with you brother. Oh, P.S. - Jedi would dress in a way that would be suitable for their environment. Brown on a snow planet. Really foolish.

It will be interesting to see what comes up in the TV show. Different Jedi looks would be cool!

OMG! Love the 'stache! Looking good!
We are being a little more flexible on our colors lately. We're looking at the overall look more than anything. We won't accept all black or all gray, but pieces of such may be acceptable.

Interesting. So my grays may be acceptable now. Of course, I've still got my browns, though. My gray set is so much nicer and I prefer the look. It's my go-to set 9 out of 10 times.

You can always use your grays as your additional photo on the main site

While we are broadening the acceptance level of our costumers, official LFL-sanctionned events (should we start to say Disney-sanctionned?) might require all-brown. In the past, those rare events were limited to the most canon costumes, the same way the 501st sandtroopers can't troop in-line with stormtroopers in those events. The point is, while we start to accept pieces of grey, especially for secondary costumes, those greys might not be acceptable to full-fledged-actor-escort type of events.
It might be something to consider for some people.

Yes. Grey would not be considered for official duties, unless LFL itself changes their rules. In the past they have been browns or Face Characters only

That makes sense. The 501st Legion follows a similar protocol for official LFL events.

Yes even the RL is modling Jedi into one easier color sorting format, or they have already I beleive.
