I think our Assmebly is more individual than the other clubs. I mean in pictures of our group you can see who is who. The 501st just kind of has to take one anothers word for it. A stormtrooper or a Clone trooper pretty much looks like any other. Rebel legion is a little more individual than that, but a rebel costume is pretty much like another. As Jedi we can be ourself and still be recognized as Jedi. Nothing against other clubs, but I have always prefered the Jedi. Even when I was a kid and Old Ben was the only Jedi out there.

That's the wonderful thing about the Jedi.... the costumes do allow for such individuality. One can maintain a standard Jedi look, and at the same time incorporate individual touches, and syles...
For instance, my costume and Xana's costume are completely different styles, yet both are undeniably Jedi.

That's what Im planning on doing at our next si fi convention. I have a freind who is a pro photographer who is willing to take high quality photos of me. As far as who rejected me,I could not tell you. Part of my OCD(obssesive compulsive disorder) is I have to delete email once I've read it. You should see me and Packing bubble sheets.......

I always find it funny that people say Jedi costumes don't allow for individuality. I think the Jedi costume is the only Star Wars costume that does allow for individuality. Go figure......

This time they said my black boots werent canon, andthe pics i sent made my costume look blue. I still don't have boots that look anything close to canon...but, so far none of my costumes ever really look canon...and as far as I can see nowhere close to screen accurate...which is why I pulled myself to inactive. Though, now I can't even convince my wife to help me work on my new one...though, I haven't had money or time to even get started on it.

As a new padawan to the site, I have to agree with the canon aspect of the Jedi costume. I am now putting together my first Jedi outfit but I want to make it as accurate as possible. Being a Batman costumer as well, I understand the importance of being spot on as much as possible. People, kids especially, want to see Batman, a Jedi, or even Santa Claus, not Batman in shorts because its hot outside. For TJA and related SW events, canon, for other stuff, be one with the force and follow your heart and be free!!!!!! Just my 2 cents worth as a newbie. May the force guide you and keep you!!

I honestly think of Prequel Jedi attire as normal and formal like something Luke would wear, but I don't think they have much of a difference

This time they said my black boots werent canon, andthe pics i sent made my costume look blue. Ahh....once again...bitten by the color rendition of a photo... Several times we too have had to ask what the actual color is...as I have been doing research on other Rebel costumes....I have found the inaccuracy of photographs to be mind-numbing... I hope that you can straighten out the issues....
