I had to hold back the tears for Obi Wan when he realizes what his friend has don and what he has become.

Several moments in the film made tears well up in my eyes. Mostly the scenes with Padme crying.
***SPOILER AHEAD***
However the one line that truly made me cry was after the donning of Vader's mask- Vader turns to the Emperor and asks, "Where's Padme? Is she alright?" There wasn't a monster under the mask; it was still Anakin, who cares deeply for his wife. And now he has lost everything. Even if she were to live, how could they possibly have a life together?

I didn't cry but I was so emotionally hurt by the movie. I had such an attachment to the Jedi and when I saw them all die it felt like my heart was ripped out. This was the best Star Wars movie, even better than Empire, and full of such emotion. Now because of what Anakin did I don't know if I can even dress up as him anymore, I think I will just go back to Obi-Wan (only problem: I cant grow a beard or I would have been him).

i know its just ep 1 and ep2 made me realise and understand properly about the jedi(waht ep 4,5 and 6 didnt explain) and iv grown to love them and have ultimate respect for them and watching them all die was like torture i mean 1000 generations of the jedi ended in such a short time was heart breaking

um..is it "Not if anything to say about it I have?" i went to go see the movie again... had nothign else to do after they threw me out of work early (god i HATE retail!!) so i was able to find the quote... you got it lol. TY! the second viewing was more powerful... i got goosebumps during like half the movie. I felt even worse for Obi-Wan and Padme this time around then the last time. ::getting goosebumps just thinking back on it:: the anger was so much more THERE the second time. i have beef with a few parts but overall the movie still rocks my socks.

i think the conversation kinda goes like this
YODA enters, using the Force to throw two RED GUARDS against the wall, knocking them unconscious. DARTH SIDIOUS turns his chair toward YODA. MAS AMEDDA stands behind SIDIOUS's desk.
YODA: I hear a new apprentice, you have. Emperor, or should I call you Darth Sidious.
DARTH SlDIOUS: Master Yoda, you survived.
YODA: Surprised?
DARTH SlDIOUS: Your arrogance blinds you, Master Yoda. Now you will experience the full power of the dark side.
The Dark Lord raises his arms, and LIGHTNING BOLTS shoot out, surrounding YODA. YODA is picked up and thrown across the room, hitting the wall and sliding down in a crumpled heap. DARTH SIDIOUS chuckles.
YODA: Not if anything I have to say about it, Lord Sidious.
YODA uses the Force to throw DARTH SIDIOUS back, knocking him clear over his desk and onto the floor in a heap.
YODA: (continuing) At an end your rule is and not short enough it was, I must say.
DARTH SIDIOUS flies through the air, cape flapping, heading toward the exit. At the last second, YODA flies into the exit and stops the Dark Lord.
YODA: (continuing) If so powerful you are, why leave??
YODA ignites his lightsaber.
DARTH SlDIOUS: You will not stop me. Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us.
DARTH SIDIOUS ignites his lightsaber.
YODA: Faith in your new apprentice, misplaced may be, as is your faith in the dark side of the Force.
Their swords CLASH. The battle is extremely fast and furious.

padawanleague.danethical.com/index.php?forum=18&topic=4I found the script there, but again I do not know how authentic it is. I was going to post the whole thing here, but thought better of it. I do not want any hassles, so read at your own risk. It seems pretty authentic to me, but I a lot was cut out of teh movie and all the effects are just briefly mentioned, if that.

Internet scripts are always iffy. I don't bother with them. I can wait for whatever official source wants to publish it.

After thinking about it for a couple of days, I find it odd I didn't cry as much - I am a crybaby too... I was heavily disturbed by it.
What I find odd about it now is I feel afraid to see it again now that I have had a little time to ponder it. This past weekend was a whirlwind and now that it's over, I feel really upset by the movie. And not because it was bad. The movie was great! Decent acting, plot and pacing were great! The gradual decline of Anakin, the slow revealing of Palpatine, the deception of the entire Clone War to kill off the Jedi... The movie was amazing.
Something is holding me back - it could be personal or just a stupid plot point - I don't know. Maybe I'm just going crazier. Oh well.
Just to say, I have a bad feeling about this...

I saw it yesterday with a friend & I tried to prepare myself. I've got many mixed emotions. Especially saddness & shock. I'm still processing the movie. I'm glad I didn't have to drive myself home. I'm going to be seeing it again shortly & unkown to me will my reaction be.
