It will be interesting to see how it turns out, especially since of course we don't know of Ferus or anyone else in the movies. I'd like to see how that's explained. Time will tell.

Last of the Jedi, #9 is supposed to be out in Feb. For some reason, amazon has listed the author as Judy Blundell, which is the apparently real name of Jude Watson -- at least it turns up when I google Jude Watson. The cover pictures lists the title as 'Master of Deception' and it has what looks like Ferus, Bail Organa and . . . Leia? Interesting, but we know Ferus was heading toward Alderaan at the end of the last book.

That Star Wars pop up book looks pretty good. I do want to get one when I can find the time & remember about it when I'm looking. How many last of the Jedi are there going to be or are we getting close to the end?

It's out already??? Sometimes they come out early, but this is really early. I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and sometimes it shows up early there, too. But I didn't see it. Though I could have missed it. They DID have the pop-up book and an open copy that you could look at, too. Very cool, but I don't have room for it.

I'll check today to see if LotJ is out here in Minnesota.
Anyone who is planning to visit MN for the Science Museum exhibit this summer, I've got the pop-up book you can read. It is really cool!

I finished yesterday, and I'm not sure this can be finished in just one book. Any chance there might be more after #10?

Man, I didn't know it was out already!! I'll have to swing into my Borders later today. I hate to think that there is just one more book; I do hate it when the stories seem to be 'hurried along' to accommodate the appropriate length. I have noticed that is a few of the SW novels, etc.
Just re-read Jedi Apprentice series again - man, those are just too good. Finished the Dark Rendevous (Yoda) book, as well. That was really well-written, I thought. Lots to ponder, there was.
But, what next to read? Has anyone read the newest offerings (I believe they are still in hardback; is one by T. Zahn set after OT?)
