[glow=blue,3,0000]Cool! When I lived in the desert, I used to catch lizards, horny toads, and tortises all the time. They make great pets, but I was never allowed to keep them very long. That reminds me, desert torises are endangered, so people aren't allowed to keep them as pets unless they have a liscense for them. Nyst has tortises, and so does my grandma. I'll stop rambling now. When I lived in Florida, there was a type of toad that was very poisonous to dogs, but which for some reason they thought it was good to eat, at least a few dogs in the neighborhood died that way each year. I like reptiles and herptiles they're always interesting. I found a turtle after hurricane Donna and kept it as a pet, like the green ones we used to buy at the pet store, it lived for about 16 years after I found it, my Grandmother was very upset when she died.

I'm sick of the rain too...but it's only been raining here for like a week. I would never survive on Kamino! I depend on photosynthesis for mental nutrition. I run on sunlight! I even have fullspectrum bulbs in all my light fixtures! My hubby says I must be part plant!
We have a black&white Cal Kingsnake, a green treefrog and a garden found American toad....oh, and seven hermit crabs...one is real mean, a true killer crab. He lives alone cuz he already killed two other crabs!
The snake is my favorite!

Humm....... I only have 4 cats! However, I have plants all over my living room windows!
Kamino is a place I wouldn't do well. The cloners would have to clone a few of me so that I could have some company other than Kaminoans.

Beautiful here today and sunny and cool. Perfect weather. Wish it could stay this way all the time.
My daughter got a turtle when it was the size of a quarter. Now he is the size of a saucer.
My neck hurts today. I must have slept on it wrong.

Raining...gray...pouring....and this morning I went to a volunteer thing...pulled lots of non-native Spanish broom. Luckily, it was only drizzling off and on then. It was nice to take a long hot shower, and have some hot chocolate when I got home.

Kudos Ryss.... as someone who runs volunteer workdays here in Illinois....we pull non native garlic mustard from the woods and cut buckthorn an multiflora from the prairies...I can say that your efforts are appreciated. My volunteer group was working along one of our trails yesterday....as we worked, there were tons of people using the trail for biking, walking and roller blading....everyone likes to enjoy the outdoors, but few take the responsibility to make sure that the area is taken care of.....to add insult to injury along the trail...they throw their trash and let their dogs poop all over (and don't pick it up)... So....from me and all of the rest of the volunteer co-ordinaters everywhere....I say a big "thank you"! ;D

Sad today. I read back over everything that everyone is doing and realize that I'm not having much fun as a Jedi Only thing I do Jedi these days, is write about my character and all the cool things she gets to do....sheeze, that's pathetic...... I need to change some things, I guess..... Hmm, I'm hungry.

Funny thing happened this am was puring HOT tea water into a cup when I tipped it up I was holding my cup on the edge and wam pured HOT boiling water all over my hand. Funny thing though I didnt get burned at all. I felt the water it felt luke warm but I had just checked it and it was steaming and such out of the teapot. Figure that out.
