Does anybody know where I can get a pattern for a female Jedi costume? Or can anyone give me some ideas for one? I want to make one that you can tell it's a female costume, but I still want it to have a Jedi-ish look to it.
If anyone has any ideas, or can point me to a website, let me know.
Thanks

What do you have in mind for a 'female' costume? Making sure there's enough bust and hip room? A long skirt like Bariss Offee or Shaa'ti?

some type of Jedi costume that looks, I guess, "feminine" for lack of a better term.

That's still awfully broad. Most Jedi costumes are somewhat uni-sex; pants, tunic, tabards, obi, boots, robe. For most people, what distringuishes male from female for Jedi is the cut of the tunic. Mine has an A-line shape for my hips. There are also two part tunics where the bottom half is cut more like a skirt (the obi covers up the seam acros the middle). People also add darts or princess seams to the tunic (those are covered up by the tabards).
Is this what you're thinking of?

heheh hehe.
I knew of someone who did the mini skirt with a jeid over tunic. It doesn't exactly look 'right' as in jedi-ish. Looked more rogue.

I saw an Imperial officer uniform done that way, with a mini-skirt showing lots of leg instead of pants. It would be a little cheesecake, but fun to do.

hey, if aayla secura can get away with that middrift and sports bra top, then surely a miniskirt can fly....come to think of it....in universe...you might have to be a twi'lek for it to fly.
come to think of it...this should go out a s a challenge to you female council members to make this work!

Actually I'm cooking up an interesting jeid costume that'll have a dress in it. A white flowing full skirted dress with wide sleeves(like over tunic style). On top of it would be this article of clothing but in a cream or tan. www.ravenswoodleather.com/ Go to dresses, then to Archer's dress. Picture that in all cream or tan leather with the white drss I described underneath. I'll have tabbords, Pbi that'd go with it. it'd be warm on me which is good cuz Coruscant is suppossed to be cold and i get cold easily. it's functional and looks great. How's that? ;-D

I tend to think that mine's feminine... even if it is patterned after Obi-Wan's. thejediassembly.com/members.php?id=a4ea0I think you can take any garment and make it feminine by changing the tailoring to fit the female figure. Adding some embroidery or nice trim might be nice too. Nothing overwhelming, just a few small details to enhance the look. This is a costume I have all the fabric for, I just haven't gotten around to making it yet. apfoister.proboards9.com/index.cgi?board=enostumes&action=display&n=1&thread=1180&page=1But I think that one of the most appealing things about the Jedi costume is that it's very unisex in it's design.

Master Faye and Nomi Sunrider have femine clothing too. I think it's also how the woman carries herself. She could wear a paper bagm but move ina graceful way. Or be dressed up royal and lumber about and not be femine.
